ถ้าถามว่าผมอิจฉาอะไรในประเทศสิงคโปร์บ้าง หนึ่งในคำตอบแรกๆ คือระบบการขนส่งมวลชน แน่ที่สุดว่าผมไม่ได้อิจฉาราคารถยนต์ซึ่งแพงกว่าบ้านเราเป็นเท่าตัว และใช้ได้เพียงคันละ 10 ปี หรือใบอนุญาตมีรถยนต์ซึ่งเป็นกระดาษธรรมดามูลค่าใบละล้าน แต่อิจฉาที่แม้คุณจะไม่มีรถยนต์เลย คุณก็ยังเดินทางไปไหนมาไหนได้โดยสะดวกปลอดภัยในราคาที่เหมาะสมกับค่าครองชีพทุกระดับ ทั้งจักรยาน รถเมล์ รถไฟฟ้า แท็กซี่

รถเมล์ ที่นี่นั่งสบายจนขี้เกียจขึ้นรถไฟฟ้า มาตรงเวลา และเปิดให้นักพัฒนาแอ็พอิสระ เข้ามามีส่วนสร้างแอ็พให้การขึ้นรถเมล์สะดวกขึ้นไปอีก อย่างเช่นแอ็พในภาพที่เอามาให้ดู สามารถคำนวนเวลารถทุกสายล่วงหน้า 3 คัน และบอกล่วงหน้าว่าเป็นรถแบบไหน ที่นั่งแน่นมั้ย และที่ชอบสุดๆ คือ สั่งให้แจ้งเตือนเมื่อใกล้ถึงป้ายที่จะลงได้ ให้หลับในรถกันสบายๆ โดยไม่ต้องพึ่งฌาณวิเศษปลุกให้ตื่นตรงป้ายแต่อย่างใด
